New Vauxhall Astra – the Race
Wed, 17 Jun 2009The new Vauxhall Astra will be launched in September at Frankfurt This sixth generation of the Astra is a good looking car, and has taken a lot of its design cues from the very good Vauxhall Insignia. And it has in its sites the Ford Focus, the VW Golf and the new Mazda 3. New Subaru WRX STI: Geneva Motor Show

But even though the styling is rather uninspiring, the mechanicals hold more than an appealing mix of performance and dynamics.
RCA students open Clerkenwell Week Design with Jaguar-inspired artwork
Tue, 21 May 2013Two Royal College of Art students have designed a Jaguar-inspired sculpture to celebrate the opening of Clerkenwell Design Week in London. Ewan Gallimore and Claire Miller developed their idea alongside Jaguar's Advanced Design team in Whitley, Coventry, by using technologies applied in the creation of Jaguar production and concept cars. The two were the successful team from a selection of nine groups who submitted entries after Jaguar's challenge to the RCA's Vehicle Design and Textile Design departments.
