  • Rotors Description: Cross-drill/slot patterns are precisely CNC machines for perfect fit to OEM specs for use with OEM calipers and wheels so that no upgrades are necessary. Cross-drilling of the rotors allows air to flow through the rotor, cooling the rotor material and the pad from the extreme heat generated by high speed sudden stops...a brake component's worst enemy. As the slot passes under the pad, it provides an area for the gasses burning off the pad to expand into and dissipate, keeping the pad in contact with the rotor. Cross-drilled/slotted rotors provide cooler brake temperatures as a result of dissipating the gasses burning off the brake pads. This technique will keep the pads in direct contact with the rotor resulting in less brake fade after repeated stops. The quick response from pads to rotors will allow a quicker response at the brake-paddle and decrease the stopping distance significantly. In addition, lower temperatures will also promote longer rotor and pad life under equal driving conditions. Every single rotor comes with silver Zinc-plating to provide extra protection against rust and corrosion. All EagleBrakes rotors are ISO-9002 / QS-9000 / VDA 6.1 approved.
