Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 hits the wind tunnel, gains downforce: Video

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

We've seen the gaudy output numbers of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque make it the fastest Camaro ever produced--by a long shot. We've seen it at the Nordschleife dropping a supercar-like time of 7 minutes, 41.27 seconds around the 13-mile, 170-turn track. Koenigsegg can take the P1, LaFerrari & Huayra with the Agera R

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

Koenigsegg believe that the Agera R has more than the measure of the new toys at Geneva – LaFerrari and McLaren P1 – and Pagani’s Huayra lap at Top Gear was a farce. But a car that was also at Geneva was the Koenigsegg Hundra, Koenigsegg’s one-off special to celebrate 100 Koenigseggs built since Christian von Koenigsegg started bolted his immense supercars together in a shed in Sweden a decade ago. So we thought it would be interesting to chat to Koenigsegg people – including Koenigsegg’s UK dealer Supervettura –  and get their thoughts on the new batch of supercars that could perhaps take some gloss off the offerings from Koenigsegg.

European car sales down 9.6% Jan 2013. VW Golf sales down 17.8%

Mon, 18 Feb 2013

Car sales in Europe continue to decline with sales down 9.6% in January 2013 and the top-selling VW Golf down by 17.8%. In fact, the UK was the only top five market to increase sales, with Germany down 8.6 per cent, France down 15.1 per cent, Italy down 17.6 per cent and Spain 9.2 per cent. Other notable drops included the Netherlands which saw a huge drop of 30.4 per cent, partly driven by tighter emission boundaries on company car taxation.
