Audi A2 EV & A1 Range-Extender dropped

It seems Audi is getting cold feet on its electric car plans with the Audi A2 EV and the Audi A1 Range-Extender reported to be dropped. Subaru has launched the Impreza Diesel in the UK The Impreza is a great car, and slotting in the 2.0-litre Boxer Diesel is a move designed to get the Impreza a whole new market, especially as it’s coming in at a round decent Golf money – a nice round £20,000 for the Impreza 2.0D RC. The 2.0 litre boxer diesel outputs 150bhp and 258lb/ft of torque, and can do 0-60 mph in 8.8 seconds and on to 127 mph. It does 47.1 mpg and emits 155g/km CO2.

Need for Speed Ford Mustang sells for $300,000

The 900hp Ford Mustang GT as seen in the latest Need for Speed movie has sold at an auction in the US for $300,000 – that’s roughly £180,000. Unfortunately, the winning bidder might be disappointed to find out that in real life it doesn’t make anywhere near the 900hp claimed in the film, instead running a stock 420hp.
