KIA WINS AUTO EXPRESS USED CAR SCHEME OF THE YEAR

KIA’S Approved Used Car Scheme has been recognised as the best in the industry having been crowned Used Car Scheme of the Year in the Auto Express Used Car Awards 2011. The magazine praised Kia for going above and beyond normal approved used programmes with a number of customer benefits including its industry-leading seven year warranty that is fully transferable to subsequent owners.  Approved Used Kias don’t just get the balance of their manufacturer warranty.  Instead, the warranty is topped back up to the full seven years meaning that an Approved Used Kia gets the same warranty as a brand new Kia. Speakers confirmed for Interior Motives China Conference 2009

Seven new speakers have been confirmed for the 2009 Interior Motives from Car Design News conference in Shanghai, which will run from 21st - 23rd April. Brought to you by the team behind Car Design News and its quarterly interior design publication, Interior Motives, the conference will take place immediately after the two Shanghai Auto Show press days, and bring together the biggest names in Chinese, Asian and Western car design for a two-day program of interactive debate. Chaired by Director of the China Automotive Design Institute and former Nanjing Auto design director, Li-Chih Fu, this two-day summit will see some of the biggest names in the business gather in Shanghai to discuss the issues facing Western and Chinese carmakers searching for success in China.

Autoweek Best of the Best semifinalists announced

Ten cars and 10 trucks are in the running for honors as the 2013 Autoweek Best of the Best. Semifinalists will undergo further evaluation by our editors, who will judge the vehicles based on drivetrain, ride quality, handling, exterior, interior design and fun factor. The winner will be announced in the January 7, 2013 issue.
