To bleed air while reading pressure, press and hold onto Schrader; press button to bleed; release to read new pressure.

Press and hold only - does not screw onto Schrader. Shipping to be USPS with Delivery Confirmation. Signature Confirmation $2.55 additional.

Angled and right-angle end available.

If an item becomes out of stock, you'll have your order within fourteen days. Email me if more detail is required.

General maintenance may include cleaning check valve if gauge will not retain pressure:

To clean the check valve hold the gauge with the hose pointed up. Unscrew the hose cap that attaches the hose to the gauge body (the part with the air bleed button on it) and carefully pull the hose and cap up and out of the gauge body. Inside is a black rubber disk, a plastic disk and a conical spring. Clean the two disks and the inside of the gauge body. Also clean the end of the fitting up inside the cap on the end of the hose.

To reassemble put the spring in first, large end down, then the plastic disk and then the black rubber disk. Push/Screw the hose and cap back onto the gauge body.

NHTSA may investigate Grand Cherokees over fuel-tank fire hazard

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

The Jeep Grand Cherokee from the 1993 to 2004 model years may be investigated by federal safety regulators after a complaint that its fuel tank is an exposed fire hazard that may have contributed to hundreds of deaths. Last month the nonprofit Center for Auto Safety complained that the SUV's fuel tank extends below the rear bumper and is inadequately protected from crashes and rollovers. The vehicle's fuel filler neck also tears off in crashes, said the center's petition for an investigation and recall.

VW Polo 3 Door (2010) introduced

Wed, 26 Aug 2009

Volkswagen is bringing the 3 Door Polo to Frankfurt Volkswagen has done a good job with the 5-door Polo, making it better looking and less drab than the outgoing car. And the new 3-door is actually better looking than its multi-doored sibling. The three-door looks more aggressive with a sharp kink in the window line and a sharp crease running down the side of the Polo.
