2013 Subaru Forester: Price from £24,995
Mon, 25 Mar 2013The new 2013 Subaru Forester, which debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, will cost from £24,995 in the UK for the Forester 2.0D X. Those improvements for 2013 include new bumpers and a bigger crease down the side, some new alloys and more toys, like a new Infotainment centre and a SatNav with reversing camera. But the big news is that the new Forester gets a new engine option too, a new 2.0 litre turbo petrol good for 240PS which should make the Foresters ‘last forever’ appeal more enticing when you can have fun forever too.
New Volkswagen Tiguan (2012) gets R-Line options
Fri, 04 Nov 20112012 VW Tiguan gets R-Line options The new VW Tiguan turned up earlier this year, looking for all the world like a mini-me VW Touareg. But with the reveal of the 2012 Tiguan came no news of the R-Line add-ons which turned the old model Tiguan from a bit of a bland and boring-looking compact SUV, to something more appealing (as we discovered when we reviewed the old model VW Tiguan R-Line). But now the 2012 Tiguan is in the showrooms VW has decided the time is right to offer a bit more pizzazz for the new Tiguan, so they’ve revealed R-Line packages for the interior and exterior.
Ian Cameron receives Welsh Motoring Writers' Automotive Achievement Award
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Former Rolls-Royce chief designer Ian Cameron is the latest recipient of the Welsh Motoring Writers (WMW) Automotive Achievement Award. The award was presented at the WMW annual dinner at HMS Nelson's Wardroom in Portsmouth, UK, by the group's patron and former winner, Land Rover director of design Richard Woolley. "As we celebrate a decade since the launch of Phantom and the establishment of the new home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex, it is a most fitting time for Ian to be bestowed with this honor," said James Warren, Rolls-Royce product and corporate communications manager, UK.
