Fuel Filter and Water Separators
FCS1133PLM - This dual unit consists of a fuel filter combined with a positive water separator which are joined together by means of a nipple, NOTE- To comply with the Underwriters Laboratories regulations, this model has drain plugs on both units. The fuel filter is specially treated to act as a coalescer unit which will break down any water emulsion in the fuel into water droplets. These water droplets would then pass into the separator unit where they would be completely removed from the fuel. The separator unit will also act as a "watchdog" filter in order to trap any dirt which might accidentally get on the clean side of the fuel filter during service operations. Because of the highly positive filtering action, this unit is not recommended for fuel systems where more than 100 GPH flow is required.

Ford MyKey system now limits cell phone use for teens
Thu, 27 Oct 2011Ford's MyKey system has been able to limit speeds and audio volume to improve teen-driver safety. Now, new technology will allow the system to limit cell phone use as well. Launching on the 2012 Ford Explorer, the new technology means that, when hooked up to Sync, the teen's phone will send calls to voicemail and save texts for later reading, but drivers can still make voice-activated outgoing calls.

It seems the Bentley hybrid solution – which is claimed to increase power by 25 per cent and improve emissions and economy by 70 per cent – is very similar to that used across the VW Group range, with an electric motor between the engine and transmission fed by a bank of batteries.
