Tue, 18 May 2010The Toyota Auris Hybrid UK starts at £19k and arrives in July Toyota has had more than their fair share of woes this year, what with the Throttlegate recalls and loss of confidence in Toyota as a result, not just by buyers but by investors. But Toyota are fighting back and pushing ahead with their ‘Green Dream’ of delivering a hybrid for every occasion (we ask every time, but why?) and have now confirmed trim and price for the UK-built Toyota Auris Hybrid. Starting price – when the Auris Hybrid hits the market in the UK in July – will be £18,950.
Toyota GT86 Convertible (the Toyota FT-86 Concept) at Tokyo with roof up
Fri, 15 Nov 2013The Toyota FT-86 Open Concept (pictured) gets a roof and new paint job for Tokyo 2013 The Toyota FT-86 Open Concept (effectively a roadster version of the GT86) made an appearance earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show, and now Toyota are lining up a new version of the FT-86 for their home show in Tokyo. The FT-86 Open may be billed as a concept, but it’s clear Toyota are keen to see the GT86 Roadster go in to production, and the latest FT-86 for Tokyo demonstrates that with a new paint job and the first views of the fabric roof in place. Complementing the FT-86′s new red paint job it gets door handles, windscreen surround and door mirrors in contrasting grey and the interior gets a set of red carpets.
Fiat Panda gets 2010 updates
Mon, 28 Sep 2009Fiat has updated the Panda for 2010 Underrated though the Panda is, it’s actually a pretty good little car. Sure, it’s not exactly dynamic, but some of it’s iterations – particularly the go-anywhere Panda Cross 4×4 - are very good. So Fiat has decided it’s time for a bit of spit and polish and some new make-up, so it’s given the Panda a bit of an update for 2010.
