But it didn’t work out like that. In fact, the 2013 Belgian Grand Prix turned in to a demonstration of the powers of Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull, as the German wasted no time taking Hamilton in the very early stages before going on to control the race from the front, and take a resounding victory with his fifth win of the season.

Used car market pressure eases

AN INCREASE in the number of used cars coming into the market has “taken the edge off prices” and calmed some corners of the industry, according to used car pricing experts CAP. A greater influx of part-exchange cars arriving at dealers is partly responsible, and with many franchised dealers focusing for the time being on selling those vehicles, competition to acquire stock on the open market has decreased. CAP reports that the pressure has been lifted on some dealers who had become frustrated at how expensive it was becoming to source cars at fair prices.

And at Los Angeles we get treated to yet another ‘Concept’ version – the Subaru BRZ Concept STI. Which does seem a bit odd; after all, the production version of the BRZ is scheduled to arrive later this month at the Tokyo Motor Show, and we know from the teaser shots Subaru sent us of the production BRZ that there are changes from this Concept.
