The award-winning GTex construction that has been used in all G-FORCE Racing Gear suits has been utilized to manufacture G-FORCE GF125 driving pants at specs that exceed SFI 3.2A/1. The single-layer G-FORCE GF125 pants are made with Pyrovatex fabric to achieve a TPP rating of near 10. GF125 pants come standard with double-adjustable sizing tabs for a wide range of sizing. The legs of the GF125 pants are finished with hidden cuffs under a wide boot-cuff pant leg. The boot cuff mirrors today's trends and proves, just like your racing technology, that your styles match the latest advancements.

GM to build Cadillac ELR in Detroit

General Motors confirmed Tuesday that it will build the Cadillac ELR extended-range plug-in hybrid at the same plant that builds the Chevrolet Volt and Opel Ampera hybrids. GM said it will spend $35 million on the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant to add the Cadillac. GM North America president Mark Reuss said production of the ELR is set to begin in late 2013.

McLaren P1 Track confirmed as McLaren Automotive goes in to profit

McLaren are building a track version of the P1 (pictured) for P1 customers only It’s only three years since McLaren Automotive entered the hugely competitive market for high-end supercars (well, it’s four years, but only three since the first 12C went to a customer), but it’s already in profit. McLaren made an operating profit in 2013 of £12.4 million (and a pre-tax of £4.4 million) on sales of £284.4 million and did so – as predicted – by hitting their sales targets – McLaren sold 1359 12Cs and 36 of the McLaren P1 hypercar. And that looks to be just the start.
