Up for auction is a very nice set of used aluminum Gale Banks water cooled aluminum exhaust manifolds for a big block Chevrolet engine. These manifolds are excellent for high horsepower applications because they are water cooled all the way up to the mounting flange. The outside diameter of the 4 bolt flange is 5 1/8 inches and the inside diameter is 3 inches. As you can see in the pictures the manifolds are in good condition with new studs installed. These manifolds are staggered so when mounted to the motor they are equel length. The flange is flat and these were removed from a fresh water only Arizona boat so there is almost no corrosion. Thu, 04 Apr 2013Detroit Electric has revealed the SP:01, a Lotus Exige based electric sports car promising 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and a range of 190 miles. 999 are being built. Detroit Electric is a re-birth of a once well-known electric vehicle maker in the US (that’s well-known pre-WWII) that’s been revived by former Group head of Lotus Engineering, Albert Lam, set up shop in Michigan with the intention of emulating Tesla’s route to EV credibility by building its own Lotus EV.
