It’s a lower, lither, two-door coupe version of the current IS saloon, and is designed to win younger buyers to the Lexus brand who’d normally default to a BMW 4-series, Audi A5, or Mercedes C-class coupe. Should the Germans fear anything from the Japanese pretender?

New (2014) Mazda 3 revealed – no prices yet

The new Mazda3 (pictured) arrives – and it looks good. The Mazda3 is already a better car than its sales would suggest, and the all new Mazda3 looks to be even more competition for the Ford Focus and VW Golf than ever before. Perhaps the only complaint about the Mazda3′s design is that it looks a bit too much like a shrunken Mazda6, but that’s a bit like moaning the DB9 looks like the Vanquish (well, the Mazda3′s not that good looking, but it makes the point).

Bentley slaps on a 5 per cent price hike for UK Cars

Bentley are raising UK Car Prices by 5% from 1st April 2009 I’m sure all us Brits still think of Bentley as a good old British Car Producer. But when we pause and think we remember that they are in fact part of VW, and therefore very much a European car maker. Which explains why, despite the cars being bolted together here, Bentley feels the need to put UK Car prices up by 5% from 31st March, due to the current weakness of Sterling.
