For sale I have an original, used factory 72 Volt, T-1, 3.5 Horse Power Controller for a GEM electric car (Global Electric Motors/NEV/Think/Polaris) in working condition.  This controller has been cleaned, tested and found to be working as it should.  There are a few very minor surface scratches, none affect the functionality of the controller.    Fits 1998-2004 provided they have not been changed out. NOTE:  older model GEM cars take a T-1 controller, please check your existing controller to see prior to ordering if you have a T-1, T-2 or T-3 controller...look at ends for connections. This is a T-1 controller. The photos you see in the ad are the exact controller you will receive with same serial number, etc.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask, we are more than happy to help.  Thank you for your interest.

We work very hard to provide quality, used factory parts and would appreciate positive feedback when you have the opportunity.

Please check my "sellers" feedback of GEM car parts, I think you will find everyone that has purchased a GEM car part has been pleasantly pleased with the value, condition and fast shipping. We have sold on Ebay since 1999 and have received over 1,800, 100% continuous positive feedback, so please bid with confidence.

We have almost any part you may need for your GEM car, we have lots of inventory and some have not been listed as of yet.  We don't list some parts that are too big to ship, but if you need it, we would consider shipping it. Please check my listings or send me an email and I will list the item immediately if I have it.

Local pickup also available with no handling fees.

Ch–ch–ch–changes: time to face the strain, presciently sang David Bowie looking forward to the 41st Tokyo Motor Show. Since the 40th show in 2007, the car world has changed economically, politically and technologically. Even the show itself has suffered a pitiful transformation, stripped to just the Japanese firms after the European and American car makers block voted with their feet and jilted the show to save cash.

Saab struggles with bills – Vladimir says it’s all fine

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

The Saab production line grinds to a halt as components run out I think we all hoped that after the long, painful transition from GM ownership in to new hands at Spyker that things would settle down and Saab would get back to making cars instead of headlines. But it seems not. Just a few days ago we had news that lifetime Saab man and CEO of Saab Jan Åke Jonsson is to step down in May, together with the news that Saab lost €140 million in 2010.

Saab might file for bankruptcy, again

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

Reports in Europe say that Saab will once again be seeking court-order protection from creditors, the European equivalent of bankruptcy. The reports did not say when this would happen. Saab's U.S.
