For models with the standard radio and 5.8" color-LCD screen, the new Becker® MAP PILOT adds an advanced, fully integrated navigation upgrade to the in-dash display and controls. Operation is seamless and simple, using the vehicle's standard central controller and steering-wheel controls. You can input destinations and stopovers using intuitive menus, or even your voice. Vivid maps and detailed information, including optimal lane recommendations, are displayed on the central screen, while the driving instructions can also be shown on the standard menu display in the instrument cluster. This allows you to use either screen for other functions while keeping your navigation information easily in view. To help assure the quickest journey, the latest traffic and route information - with lifetime service provided by the Traffic Message Channel (TMC) - lets you base your route on current conditions and enjoy automatic updating along the way. The MAP PILOT's compact module is discreetly housed in the glovebox in a custom-fit cradle. The latch of the cradle can be removed in order to permanently store the MAP PILOT permanently in the vehicle. Easy to update via the Web (at beckermappilot.com), the module removes from the cradle with a single motion and plugs into your laptop via a USB cable. Becker's 45-day "fresh map guarantee" helps ensure that your navigation data is up to date before you hit the road. The 45 day "fresh map" guarantee starts as soon as the Becker® MAP PILOT is installed in the cradle in the glove department. Vehicle must be equipped with factory option code 508 and Audio20 standard radio.

Warranty

Genuine Mercedes Benz products come with a 1 year parts warranty for defective items only. This does not include wear and tear on the item. Mercedes Benz customers may obtain parts warranty at ANY local dealership provided they have a receipt of purchase within the warranty time frame. The Mercedes-Benz Spare Parts and Over-The-Counter Parts Warranty covers only Genuine Mercedes-Benz Parts originally purchased from an authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealership. Reimbursement for labor for the repair or replacement of parts which were originally sold over the counter, if the subsequent repair is performed at an authorized Mercedes-Benz Dealer.

Return Policy

At RBM of Atlanta, your satisfaction is our number one priority. If you have received an incorrect or damaged product, please contact us immediately and we will gladly take the necessary courses of action to satisfy you. We will exchange any unused and unmolested product(s) within 30 days so long as it arrives to us in the original packaging. The buyer will be responsible for the shipping charges incurred for returning a product that he/she did not want. All buyer returns after 30 days will incur a 20% restocking fee. AA urges private parking regulation

PRIVATE LAND parking enforcers are "free to reap any and every parking infringement," despite recent legislation, according to the AA. Highlighting findings of the new Parking on Private Land Appeals (Popla) body, the AA said the requirements of the 2102 Protection of Freedoms Act were not always being observed. Popla's report for 2013/14 said some private parking operators were acting outside some statutory provisions of the Act in their pursuit of those who they think have offended.

Porsche 918 Spyder crashes in Germany

Porsche is in hot water with German authorities following an accident involving a prototype version of the gasoline-electric hybrid-powered 918 Spyder on a public road last month, according to reports in the German media. The accident, which took place between the towns of Bietigheim-Bissingen and Ludwigsburg (close to Porsche's research-and-development center), saw the 875-hp 918 Spyder spin out of control and collide with a guard rail. Parts of the new $845,000 Porsche flagship are said to have broken loose in the collision before being collected by an oncoming car.
