Some traditional hot rod carburetion, or maybe a replacement for your tired Holley 94s or ochesters? The original and Genuine Stromberg 97 carburetor is available only from Stromberg Carburetor. Built accurately to original Stromberg blueprint specification, but with a number of key improvements.
They’re just the same, but better than ever. Extensive dyno and road tests have proved that it matches or exceeds original spec. And all Stromberg service parts are interchangeable with the originals.
FEATURES INCLUDE:
*Big 97 logo, Type 1 bowl casting, pressure-cast in new dies, CNC-machined for a blue-print parts fit with brand new emulsion tubes. No oversize screw threads. No mystery parts from previous rebuilds. No problems.
*New air horn casting with extra meat around the float bowl lid to help prevent warping (and leaks) if you get a little heavy on the screws.
*New brass float, made in the USA on the original Stromberg dies
*Newly developed no-stick S-jet inlet valve.
*Modern, high-tech, reinforced cellulose/nitrile gaskets. No leaks is a major project target, and these beauties are half the battle won.
*Stainless steel linkage instead of plated mild steel throughout. Who needs rust? Not us. The springs are stainless. So is the accelerator pump rod, the throttle linkage, choke plate, lever and more.
*Beautiful investment cast stainless steel throttle and accelerator pump levers.
*The correct pale chromate colour with iridescent highlights, using the original Ford Service Bulletin process. And correct black Parkerized/lacquered bases.
