PARTS FIT TRANSMISSIONS BUILT FOR 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L ENGINES USING THE "300mm" TYPE INPUT SHAFT AND TORQUE CONVERTER. INPUT SHAFT DOES NOT HAVE A SMOOTH PILOT TIP ON THE CONVERTER END AND DOES NOT HAVE RELUCTOR TEETH. THESE PARTS WILL NOT WORK IN LATE MODEL UNITS THAT USE AN INTERNAL INPUT SPEED SENSOR WHICH BOLTS ONTO THE BACK OF THE PUMP AND READS FROM RELUCTOR TEETH ON THE INPUT SHAFT. THE TCC CHECK BALL & CAPSULE AT THE END OF THE SHAFT IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PART.  STATOR SHAFT TUBE IS 7 3/8" LONG. THE INPUT SHAFT IS MACHINED FROM BILLET 300M STEEL THEN HARDENED

Audi A1: American buyers not ready says U.S. chief De Nysschen

Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen says the United States and its small-equals-cheap mentality isn't ready for premium subcompacts such as the Audi A1, which goes on sale in Europe later this year. In an interview with Automotive News on Monday, de Nysschen said Audi is "seriously looking" at bringing the A1 to the United States in the car's next generation six to eight years from now. Bringing it here earlier could damage Audi's efforts to build widespread recognition for the brand, he said.

Images of the next generation Audi A3 have been leaked ahead of its Geneva debut. The pictures show that the A3 has evolved gently from its previous incarnation, with more refined surfacing and intricate detailing akin to other Audi models. The familiar full-frame grille is flanked more angular LED lamps, which are reminiscent of the A3 sedan concept of Frankfurt as well as the production A1 supermini.
