FAST SHIPPING IN USA AND CANADA

This auction includes a used 34583 very good condition PMD a PMD Heat Sink (cooler) that comes brand new and complete (ready to be installed) and a brand new 6 foot harness. (See Pictures)

Custom PMD / FSD Heat Sink for all GM 6.5 Turbo Diesels with electronic fuel injection.

PMD is 100% 30 DAY GUARANTEED ANYWHERE IN USA AND CANADA.

(700$ TO THE DEALER or LESS THAN 200$ HERE)

This PMD is in very good condition TESTED on a 50,000$ BENCH and in fully WORKING condition.

The PMD is the small black box the size of a deck of playing cards on the side of your injection pump. It is a signal amplifier that powers the fuel solenoid on your injection pump. In stock location, it is prone to premature failure. It strongly suggest not re-installing it in the stock location. Mount to a remote cooler such as a FSD Heat-Sync.

WHAT'S INCLUDED? 1 x USED TESTED 34583 PMD, 1 X NEW COOLER with BOLTS, 1 x 6 FOOT HARNESS.

IS IT EASY TO INSTALL THIS HARNESS? Yes, a child could do it. Simply unplug your PMD from the original harness and plug in this harness. Next, relocate this harness to your new location and just plug in your new PMD. Should'nt take more than 10-15 minutes.

WHY SHOULD I USE A 6 FOOT HARNESS? We have done testing and found that if you locate your PMD anywhere inside the engine compartment it will run hotter than when it's installed on the fuel pump. (stock location) We also installed a PMD that was stalling under the hood and never stalled again when relocated inside the truck.

WHERE IS THE BEST LOCATION TO RELOCATE THE PMD? First, outside the engine compartment. As many of our customers does, they install it in the front bumper...on a blue cooler...bolted in the bumper or they relocate the pmd inside the truck, also on a blue cooler. With this 6 feet long cable, you can do it easily. (PLEASE SEE PICTURES BELOW)

PMD Heat Sync (cooler) Benefits:

- Locate your PMD / FSD away from the injector pump where heat is trapped

- Vertical mounting allows full air flow across the PMD / FSD and the heat sink and performs better during idle compared to horizontal mounting (other heat sink designs mount the PMD / FSD horizontally under the heat sink which can trap hot air, especially when idling)

- Attaches to the existing motor cover mounting holes (motor cover must be removed when mounting the heat sink to this location)

- Utilizes stock wire harness

- Precision design and fit, CNC machined from solid billet of 6061 Aluminum and Blue Anodized for corrosion resistance (will last longer than your engine!)

- Nylon Thermal isolation washers used to help insulate heat conduction to the heat sink from the intake manifold

- Reclaims fuel mileage and lost power

- Helps prevent hard-starting, stalling, hesitation and failure to start

- Protects injector pump from premature failure (costs can range from $700 for a rebuilt injector pump to $1500 for a new injector pump, not including installation)

- Compact and highly efficient and no modifications are needed to quickly mount a new or existing PMD / FSD (about 10 minutes when installing a new PMD)

What's included:

- (1) PMD (34583), HARNESS and FSD Heat Sink

- (2) M8 x 35mm bolts

- (2) M8 lock washers

- (2) M8 nylon washers

- (4) 6-32 x 1" screws (for PMD / FSD)

- (1) 6-32 x .25" screw (for grounding)

Wed, 27 Aug 2014

By Tom Clarkson Motor Industry 27 August 2014 09:50 Is this man a genius? Monaco is utterly captivating, Bahrain less so – you get the idea.
