This listing is for a set of GM 3.42 8.5 (8.6) gears and factory 30 spline locker from a 2000 Tahoe (Old Body Style). Oil was very clean and they are in used but in great shape. The carrier bearings and races are in great shape and have not turned (a common problem). The governor is not stripped. The gears include the side shims from the original set-up. The gears aren't nicked or pitted and have a nice gear pattern. This set-up will work in any pre-1999 (Old body style) Silverado, Tahoe, Sierra, S10 ZR1 ZR2 Escalade Denali Avalanche etc. with the 8.6 8.5 rear (big ten bolt) and small carrier bearings (1999-up and new body style had larger carrier bearings.)
This unit has the small carrier bearings (Pre-99) even though it is a 2000 model because the vehicle is the old body style.

Autodesk Alias Scan Surfacing webinar takes place on 8 October

The 45-minute webinar will take place on 8 October, and begins at 8am PDT in Los Angeles and 11am EDT in Detroit, which is 16:00 GMT in London and 17:00 CET in Munich. Young Drivers Accident Risk Warning
Tue, 27 May 2014RESEARCH commissioned by the RAC Foundation and carried out by transport research laboratory TRL has found that teenage drivers are involved in almost one in eight road accidents involving injury. Based on nationwide statistics covering five years 2008 to 2012, the survey showed that 11.9% of all road casualties were injured or killed in collisions involving a car driver aged 17-19. This was despite those aged between 17 and 19 making up only 1.5% of licensed drivers.
