Bought this for my 05 Monte SS, was hooked up once until i realized it didn't have a steering wheel retainer for my aftermarket deck. it does work if you have 3.5mm jack.
GM Class-2 Data Interface 2000-2013
The GMOS-014 is designed to retain Onstar/ Rear seat entertainment (RSE)/ SAT radio/ and retain the warning chimes that are normally lost when the OEM radio is removed. It also provides a 12 volt accessory output for aftermarket radio operation.
The GMOS-014 provides a mute/ parking brake/ vss or speed sense and reverse output to make installing an aftermarket navigation radio simpler and less time consuming.

Infiniti G to get Mercedes engine
Thu, 08 Apr 2010Infiniti’s volume line, the G series, will get a Mercedes-Benz engine as part the global alliance between Daimler AG and Renault-Nissan, the story AutoWeek blew wide open at the end of March. Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault SA and Nissan Motor Co., said the G will use a Mercedes inline four-cylinder from Daimler to improve fuel economy and cut emissions. He didn’t say when the engine would reach Infiniti production lines or indicate the extent to which it will replace Japanese-made four-cylinder and V6 engines used in the G sedan and coupe.
