GM TBI 40hp power up kit 1986-95 SBC 2.8 4.3L 5.0L 5.7L Silverado Sierra 4x4

This TBI 40hp power up kit is the best money you will ever spend on your TBI motor - and in the process make it breath better, run better, and add up to 40hp over a stock TBI setup.  We are including instructions on modifying your TBI base and throttle shaft for better air flow, including a 14psi pressure regulator spring to bump fuel pressure slightly - and a 1/4" TBI injector spacer (with extended screws) all that will add up to 70cfm.

This kit will work on stock motors, or motors w/ headers and free flow exhaust.  It will even work with mild cam upgrades - good for motors up to 250hp.  And best of all, in most cases you don't have to program the ECM thanks to the bump to 14psi in fuel pressure.

What this fits: This kit will fit your 1986-95 twin injector TBI 2.8L, 4.3L V6 or 5.0L, 5.7L V8 most commonly found in full size Chevrolet and GMC full size Silverado and Sierra trucks, mid size S10, Blazer, SUVs like Yukon, Suburban, Tahoe, Camaro, Firebird,  Cadillac, Caprice and more. Any GM twin injector TBI model 200 and 220

What are you getting here?:

  • 1/4" thick 1 piece CNC cut high density plastic spacer w/ extended mounting screws
  • custom wound 14psi fuel pressure regulator spring - replaces your OEM spring
  • instructions for modifying your TBI base by removing the air horns and thinning the throttle shaft
  • illustrated setup and installation instructions for these items

Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupé drifting at Laguna Seca (Video)

Wed, 02 May 2012

Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupé drifting at Laguna Seca To celebrate 2 million views on their YouTube Channel, AMG has taken a C 63 AMG Coupe for a bit of a blat round the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Car makers are slowly waking up to the joys of the Interweb as a way to promote their wares, and they’re all busy feeding their Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube channels with new content to keep fans amused. It’s never exactly the most unbiased content so it often needs taking with a pinch of Maldon’s finest, but YouTube, in particular, gives car makers the chance to showcase their cars in action, and if they can do that and makes ‘fans’ feel a part of it, so much the better.

How the Honda Civic got a fast makeover

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Jay Guzowski was getting more nervous by the day. As senior product planner for the redesign of the 2012 Honda Civic, Guzowski was shepherding the compact car from design freeze to market. But as he listened to others around the American Honda conference table -- with a year to go before the car's on-sale date -- he heard a disturbing refrain: The upcoming Civic was not good enough.
