Need it fast?
Upgrade to Express during checkout and we will rush your order! Services used are Express eParcel or Australian Air Express with guaranteed next work-day dispatch or we refund the upgrade price and still send it Express! Please note we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day; potential transit delays are out of our control.

Bulky goods
For some bulky goods, we offer variable delivery rates based on the destination address. These are listed on the product page if applicable. Goods are sent via eParcel or road courier.

Returns Policy

MadElectronics is proud to comply with all aspects of Australian Consumer Law; if you have any questions regarding our returns policy we encourage you to contact us prior to making a purchase. This page is intended to clarify under which circumstances we can or can't accept returns.

To resolve technical issues, your best approach is to contact the manufacturer first. We're happy to assist with a warranty claim if necessary. To request assistance, please contact MadElectronics Support.

Warranty Return Policy

Our Returns Policy includes, and does not seek to exclude or limit, the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, MadElectronics is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable remedy. Any cost incurred in returning the product to MadElectronics is borne by you.

To process a warranty claim, please seek a return authorization by contacting MadElectronics Support with proof of purchase and problem description.

Change of Mind Returns

MadElectronics voluntarily accepts Change-of-mind returns – subject to conditions. This policy is above and beyond our legal obligation under Australian Consumer Law and is intended to help customers where the wrong product has been ordered.

In order to keep it fair for all parties involved, we cannot take back opened & used products. Products that are accepted under this policy must essentially be in brand new, sellable condition as we do not get the benefit of no fault returns from our suppliers.

Conditions to Change-of-Mind Return Policy

  • - A return authorization must be obtained prior to returning any goods to MadElectronics
  • - Product must be returned unopened, factory-sealed, shrink-wrapped and in pristine condition
  • - Product was purchased at regular list price (eg not marked down to clear)
  • - Product must be returned within 14 days of invoicing
  • - Positive feedback has been left for MadElectronics
  • - The credit amount is 80% of the product price (excl any delivery charge)

Excluded from Change of Mind returns are all opened products, software, clearance and discounted products as well as special orders. MadElectronics reserves a final decision in every case. To request a return authorization, please contact MadElectronics Support, confirming that above conditions are met.

Please understand that we do not offer a try & buy service where you can test products and return if disliked or no longer needed. We advertise all products as sealed & new – it would not be fair to the next customer to send your pre-loved product. Please determine compatibility and suitability before placing an order.

We are 100% upfront with this policy - please make your purchase decision accordingly. However it's not fair to purchase and accept the Change-of-mind policy but then slander MadElectronics when you don't get your way with the return of a used product that does not work they way you assumed / don't like the color / don't need it anymore or any other reason (apart from warranty which is of course covered).
