Surely the best concept name of the show? Possibly. Although it sounds like an early 80s rap MC with dirty habits, this concept is actually designed to showcase a possible all-terrain vehicle able to transport keen mountain bikers to extreme locations – as well as providing shelter to fix their rides under its twin gull-wing doors with built-in LED lamps.
Little by little we're getting a clearer picture of the next-generation Dodge Viper SRT10. During a conversation with Dodge boss Reid Bigland at the Los Angeles auto show, Bigland told me the redesigned Viper "will appeal to a broader segment of the market."
The car is expected to debut in 2012 but is not likely to appear at the Detroit auto show, he says. Today's Viper is essentially a street-legal race car.
The De Tomaso Concept is now the De Tomaso SLS Concept
It’s taken a lot of years for someone with a decent level of backing to take on the De Tomaso brand once again. But octegenarian Gian Mario Rossignolo – former Fiat Exec – has risen to the challenge. The shame is he’s chosen a rather odd route to resurrection for a marque best known for combining American muscle with Italian flair – the crossover.
