Silverstone gets British Grand Prix

Silverstone has won a 17 year deal to host the British Grand Prix Now the farce that was the Donnington bid has been expunged, we’ve been waiting for confirmation that Bernie Ecclestone will take in to account more than just money and confirm that the British Grand Prix will survive. It seemed certain last week that a deal would happen, and the official announcement has come this morning that Silverstone has secured a 17 year deal to host F1. The key to the deal seems to be the length of the agreement.

Toyota TRD GT86 UK bound

The Toyota TRD GT86 – a titivated GT86 – is heading for the UK as a special edition of Toyota’s new sports car. The Toyota GT86 (and, for that matter, the Subaru BRZ) is exactly the sort of car Toyota should be building in the 21st century; good looking, fun and affordable, it fills a niche Toyota have long been absent from. Subaru's Levorg concept set for Tokyo

Subaru has revealed the first teaser images of its Levorg tourer concept ahead of its unveiling at next month's Tokyo Motor Show. The concept, which previews a new 2014 model, is designed to blur the line between a tourer's practicality and a sports car's design and will target the Japanese market. Its name is derived from a combination of the words ‘Legacy', ‘Revolution' and ‘Touring'.
