Lamborghini Countach LP400 breaks $1 million sale barrier

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

A 1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 "Periscopica" sold for $1.21 million at the Bonhams auction held in conjunction with the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, June 1, setting a record for the model. Named for the roof-mounted periscope-style rearview mirror that adorned the first 150 Countach models, the stunning "Blu Tahiti" example was the first example of the Countach to break the $1 million mark. We can probably guess what you're thinking: The Countach hadn't broken the $1 million barrier until now?

Bentley Continental Flying Spur (2013) new teaser video

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Bentley's 2013 Continental Flying Spur With Bentley set to make a further announcement on 20 February, we're expecting to see the Flying Spur make its debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show in March. Powertrains will be shared with the Continental GT coupe: that means a 6.0-litre bi-turbo W12 in the flagship car, and for the first time in a Flying Spur, Bentley's new 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8.

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

The first SRT Viper crossed the block at Barrett Jackson in Orange County this past week, for a cool $300,000. All the proceeds will go to the Austin Hatcher Foundation, a charity to help families and children affected by pediatric cancer. While the Cadillac XTS hasn't been a stranger on public roads around Michigan, this heavily camouflaged example is a bit of a mystery.
