H&S Performance is proud to announce the "OVERDRIVE" software.  A finely tuned engine is worthless if that power cannot be transferred to the ground.  In order to meet the high horsepower and torque output of the 6.7 Cummins engine, we have modified the transmission tuning software to better "put the power to the ground".  The H&S Overdrive software is specifically tailored to H&S engine tuning software, and will ensure that you get the best performance and reliability out of your transmission.

Black Maxx, Mini Maxx, and XRT Pro owners

BM, MM, and XRT Pro owners will have the ability to use their existing units to load the "Overdrive" software.  Using the H&S downloads section, you will simply update your tuner to the latest software level (Software found HERE).  Once the tuner is updated, the transmission tuning software is ready to be unlocked.  This unlock will require a software purchase to be made from H&S. Once the software is purchased, you will receive an e-mail from a representative of H&S Performance within 1 business day.  This e-mail will contain your "Overdrive" unlock code.  Do NOT lose this code, as you will need it if your truck is ever returned to stock, then re-tuned.  IF you lose your unlock code, you will need to purchase another one.  This software is LOCKED to your VIN number, and cannot be used on any other truck.  Please do NOT call H&S unless it has been 2 business days and you have not yet received your transmission unlock code.

The Italians will now turn to inhouse partner Jeep while Suzuki develops the new S-Cross itself.

Peter Stevens and Julian Thomson lead a discussion on the past, present and future of car design

Fri, 24 May 2013

As part of its sponsorship of London's Clerkenwell Design Week, Jaguar and the Royal College of Art brought together three generations of the design school to discuss the past, present and possible future of car design. Held in a suitably grimy warehouse in east London – with the sculpture by RCA students Ewan Gallimore and Claire Mille's we showed you earlier this week sat outside – Professor Dale Harrow, dean of the School of Design and head of its Vehicle Design program introduced Professor Peter Stevens, Julian Thomson, Jaguar's advanced design director and Alexandra Palmowski project designer advanced colour and material at Jaguar took the audience through their careers. Charismatic as ever, Peter Stevens kicked off proceedings that moved chronologically through the decades by explaining how he first became interested in "the art if car design, allied to the science of how they work" through his artistic parents and uncle – journalist and motoring adventurer – Denis Jenkinson during the 1950s and 60s.

Russo and Steele's Arizona auction closed Friday as weather wreaks havoc

Fri, 22 Jan 2010

The Russo and Steele auction site in Scottsdale, Ariz., was closed Friday morning--and may not open to the public at all during the day--as city and auction officials assess damage after high winds Thursday night ripped tents from their anchors and damaged several cars. Scottsdale police were not letting anyone into the site as collapsed tents and metal beams remain a hazard. One person was treated for minor injuries.
