Barnett clutch springs,fit 41-83 big twin 4 speed models.Stock springs on 68-83 models are 40lbs at 1.125 inches.The white springs are 68lbs at 1.125,the red springs are 50 lbs at 1.125.I used to stagger the springs on shovels,because 10 white springs was to much,so stock spring white spring,etc.The red springs are in between stock and white springs,pressure wise.41-67 clutches used 50,lbs at 1.125.this gives the installer three rates of spring pressure to work with,sometimes i would stagger white springs with red springs. There are 15 white springs (68lb),and 10 red springs (50lb).

It looks like the Bentley Mulsanne Speed is on the way, and maybe a Mulsanne Coupe too? Even the very top end car makers are finding that buyers are willing to pay more for more driver-focused versions of the their cars, with even Rolls Royce churning out the Wraith- a Ghost Coupe –  to tempt buyers. And now it looks like Bentley are going to extend their Speed versions from the Continental range to the Mulsanne.

Volvo will showcase its latest plug-in hybrid technology in the new 2012 XC60 Plug-in Hybrid concept car at next week's Detroit auto show. The Swedes have been developing a range of plug-in hybrid cars, using both petrol and diesel. The hybridised V60 which goes on sale in Europe later in 2012 uses diesel, whereas the new SUV drinks from the green pump.

Jaguar C-X75: Jaguar’s Hypercar stillborn

The Jaguar C-X75 hybrid hypercar will not go in to production. Jaguar cite the poor economic outlook is behind the decision to scrap the C-X75. But the gas turbines soon bit the dust as Jaguar realised the technology was just not mature enough for a production car, so they replaced the gas turbines with a 1.6 litre turbocharged and supercharged petrol engine charging the batteries that powered the two electric motors, one on each axle.
