Harley FLT/FLHTP Push Button Kit for Police Saddlebags in chrome or black finish My kit replace the factory OEM black "Hockey Puck" knob assemblies on your Harley police style saddlebags. You can open and close your saddlebags with one hand. They are made from chrome plated ABS. The ones pictured here have been on my bike for 3 years now, and they last! All you do is just press the knob in and the knob will automatically pop up. When you want to open your saddlebag, just turn the latch right or left 1/4 turn and it automatically releases! The best part is that they are self-latching whether the knob is up or down! My COMPLETE kit comes with EVERYTHING you'll need to have a successful complete installation. Most of the other sellers on eBay require modifications to your present metal brackets, drilling brackets or grinding them down. We’re guessing that even though the 2013 Astra Cabriolet (which will arrive as both the Vauxhall and Opel Cabrio) is due to debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, it won’t be in showrooms until the spring – just in time for another miserable summer. Ahead of that debut, GM Europe are out at the Nurburgring making sure their new soft-top doesn’t wibble wobble too much, resulting in the spy video below.
Ford software maximizes hybrid efficiency
Fri, 09 Nov 2012Ford will use a little navigation wizardry on two of its hybrids: the C-Max Energi plug-in and Fusion. The system will use GPS data and an algorithm to predict when a driver is close frequented destinations. The car will adjust powertrain controls to maximize efficiency.Ford calls the feature EV+, which is part of SmartGauge, standard on the Fusion Energi and C-Max Energi plug-ins and on hybrid models.
Mercedes removed Lieb over compliance issue, report says
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Daimler AG dismissed Mercedes-Benz USA chief Ernst Lieb for violations of human resources and ethics policies relating to household expenses paid by the automaker, The Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing sources close to the company. Lieb was abruptly removed as head of the automaker's second-largest market on Oct. 17 after more than 30 years at Daimler.
