One pair of red genuine Chicago Motorcycle Supply hard plastic grips that fits 1" handlebars with internal throttle. CMS plastic grips and kicker pedals were made in the 40s and 50s as a post war alternative to rubber, which was still in limited supply in the mid 40s. They have "Chicago Motorcycle Supply" and "Made in USA" embossed in the end face of the grips. The inner diameter of both grips is 1-1/8", and the inner length is 4". These are MINT!! and they slide right on....may need to be cemented on springer spirals, and, will press on your panhead and servicar spirals. Mon, 09 Sep 2013We all know that if there's one thing that delivery trucks like to do (UPS trucks excepted), it's to idle loudly in front of your home or office while filling the air with exhaust fumes as their drivers fill out paperwork on one of those metal pads. Scientific opinion around the world is split as to why delivery truck drivers do this, but one generally accepted explanation put forth by a group of Swiss scientists is that delivery truck drivers don't pay for their own fuel, and need to keep the radio on to listen to sports while filling out invoices. Well, Nissan is about to change all that, at least when it comes to eliminating the exhaust fumes generated by light commercial vehicles, with the introduction of the Nissan e-NV200 Zero Emission Van in the near future.
CDN-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition Enters Exterior Phase
Thu, 06 Jan 2011Car Design News is pleased to announce the finalists of the interiors phase of the Car Design News-Opel/Vauxhall Interactive Design Competition. Pierin Giacomo of the Istituto Europeo Di Design in Turin, Italy, Victor Uribe, also of IED Turin, and Chiayuan Lu of Coventry University in the UK have been named as the top three entrants in the first phase of the competition. They topped the entries received from students at 36 design schools across 18 different countries in Europe.
