Here is a genuine Harley luggage rack support tube used with the police air ride seats on dressers. The OEM # is 53801-98. As I read the parts book this should fit 1998 to 2008 touring bikes.  Ask your local expert to see if it will fit yours. This used luggage rack support tube looks like new, but has the expected minor nicks, scratches, and scuffs that came with use. Mechanically it is in great shape. Buy this cheaper than welding and re chroming yours.
