We came up with this idea when the wheels first came out back in 2006. It gives the wheel a smoother look and makes the wheels very easy to clean and maintain. The wheels are then polished to a "High Lustre". The wheels are now ready for the powder Coating Process. We mask the treaded holes and the bearing surface. Then we apply Electro Static Powder Coat over the whole wheel. Then the wheels are re-polished to a High Lustre followed by a 1 hour Bake. Seeing is believing. Several newspaper articles have suggested that the new owners of Proton may divest its loss-making Lotus subsidiary. The ownership structure of Proton has changed in recent weeks, after the Khazanah Nasional Berhad sold its entire stake in Proton to DRB-Hicom.

By comparison, a Cayenne GTS is £54,085 and a Cayenne Turbo is £75,137 For a start there’s the 493bhp twin-turbo 4.8-litre V8 mated to Porsche’s four-wheel drive system and seven-speed double-clutch PDK gearbox. Then there are also 19-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, metallic paint, heated front and rear seats and a multi-functional steering wheel.
