MotorExpo London 2009 – a quick look

Merceeds Benz E Class is just one of the exhibitors at London' MotorExpo 2009 So it looks like, with a few exceptions such as the Geneva Motor Show, we will have to make do with ‘Boutique’ style shows. But at least they’re usually free and you do get pretty good access to the cars. And this week sees MotorExpo open for business in London’s Canary Wharf, with a reasonably impressive range of manufacturers showing up to display their latest wares, and a smattering of UK debuts to boot.

The Scottsdale auctions are full of high-rollers making high-profile bids on classic and modern cars. As such, there was a ton of buzz circling the first retail 2015 Mustang and what it would ultimately sell for -- it ended up crossing the block at $350,000. New Volvo XC40 heading for Paris debut?

New Volvo XC40 The Volvo XC40 is the next stage in Volvo’s XC adventure and it looks like it will debut – at least as a concept – at the Paris Motor Show. We’ve know for some time that Volvo are planning to extend their range of SUV come crossover vehicles, and a little brother for the XC60, XC70 and XC90 is the direction. We did think, until it became clear that Volvo’s new baby would be the V40 and not the V30, that the next instalment for the XC would be the XC30.
