Audi A7 Sportback – Official photo leak

Sun, 25 Jul 2010

The Audi A7 Sportback Leaks Out We reported last week that Audi were due to reveal the Audi A7 Sportback tomorrow (Monday) at the Pinakothek der Moderne München in Munich. So it’s hardly a shock that the first official photos of the new Audi A7 Sportback have turned up ahead of the event. With the official reveal tomorrow – and some official detail likely to drop in to our inbox sooner than that after this leak – there isn’t too much point going in to huge speculation about what’s to come.

New Nissan Note production starts in Sunderland

Mon, 16 Sep 2013

The New Nissan Note goes in to production The new Nissan Note arrived at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and has turned in to a proper compact hatch – with plenty of kerbside appeal – instead of the rather bland small MPV it used to be. With better looks, some nice styling detail and lots of technology on offer – like Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection, the new Note looks set to have much more impact when it arrive’s in Nissan’s showrooms than the old Note ever did. That point of view is given extra credence by the 14,000 orders Nissan has received for the new Note in Europe since it went on sale in July, and now the first Notes are ready to start rolling off the production line at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland.

LA Design Challenge 2010 announced

Wed, 18 Aug 2010

This year will see the seventh running of the annual LA Auto Show Design Challenge when the industry circus hits the US west coast in November. All participating studios have been tasked to envision a 1000lb (454kg) 2+2 vehicle that is both comfortable and secure while delivering satisfactory driving performance without sacrificing the emotional connection and beautiful styling today's consumers demand. For the first time, design studios from outside the US – from both Germany and Japan – will compete for the prize.
