Renault working on 141mpg plug-in hybrid concept

Renault is working on a 141mpg plug-in hybrid concept car to be shown at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, according to Renault head of research, advanced studies and materials, Remi Bastien. Huntsman U-Box concept explores use of carbon materials

Developed by Huntsman Advanced Materials, this 'last mile' delivery vehicle is a showcase of the company's composite materials expertise. BMW DesignworksUSA has been set the task of developing Singapore Airlines' new First Class seats and cabin interior. Given the fast-paced improvement in the quality of premium Asian air travel – Emirates and Cathay Pacific are two examples – Singapore Airlines has decided to revamp its First Class area while upgrading its in-flight entertainment system. The chief redesign will be limited to its First and Business Class sections as those are the main sources of revenue but economy passengers will see upgraded headrests and seating.
