Ayrton Senna da Silva - 21 March 1960 – 1 May 1994) was a Brazilian racing driver who won three Formula One world championships for McLaren in 19881990 and 1991 and is regarded as one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time. He was killed in an accident while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix for Williams.

Senna began his motorsport career in karting, moving up to open-wheel racing in 1981, and winning the British Formula 3 championship in 1983. He made his Formula One debut with Toleman-Hart in 1984 before moving toLotus-Renault the following year and winning six Grands Prix over the next three seasons. In 1988, he joined Frenchman Alain Prost at McLaren-Honda. Between them, they won all but one of the 16 Grands Prix that year and Senna claimed his first World Championship. Prost claimed the championship in 1989, and Senna his second and third championships in 1990 and 1991. In 1992, the Williams-Renault combination began to dominate Formula One. Senna nonetheless managed to finish the 1993 season as runner-up, winning five races and negotiating a move to Williams in 1994.

Senna has often been voted as the best and most influential Formula One driver of all time in various motorsport polls. He was recognised for his qualifying speed over one lap and from 1989 until 2006 held the record for most pole positions. He was also acclaimed for his wet weather performances, such as the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix, the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix, and the 1993 European Grand Prix. He holds a record six victories at theMonaco Grand Prix, and is the fifth-most successful driver of all time in terms of race wins. Senna courted controversy throughout his career, particularly during his turbulent rivalry with Prost. In the Japanese Grands Prix of 1989 and 1990, each of which decided the championship of that year, collisions between Senna and Prost determined the eventual winner.

Policies

We sell antiques, collectible, and vintage items. Items may contain minor dusting, soiling, usage marks, and blemishes caused by natural aging and use. All items are being sold as collectibles. Every so often we do list some new items which we clearly state in the description.

Condition Chart:

We do try our best to match the product to the condition below.

Mint: Brand new and never used. No visible flaws in appearance. First quality. Most antique and vintage items will not fall in this category. However, there are some old back stock still in the market and highly sought after.

Excellent: Upon close inspection some very minor signs of use or wear, but no serious flaws. Highly prized antique and vintage items. Condition usually can't be upgraded or any better.

Very Good: Obviously used but kept in great condition and well cared for. Displays normal signs of use and wear but no abuse.

Good: Clearly used enough to cause noticeable signs of wear. Overall still in collectible condition. Offers satisfaction of owning a long sought after piece. The collectible condition is still tolerated by most collectors.

Fair: Used extensively, many cosmetic flaws and signs of wear. Still holds collectible desire based on availability, uniqueness and character. Usually purchased by collectors if an item is rare and not ready available on the open market or as a restoration project. Makes for a nice filler piece.

Poor: Used extensively with abundant and major cosmetic flaws. Sold "AS IS" for decorative use only. Makes for a nice filler collectible until a better one can be obtained. Displays lots of use and age character. For the collector who likes to restore or just desires the primitive rustic look of an abused aged item.

The condition listed is a personal opinion. We try to give a fair opinion based on our experience.

The pictures are taken from actual items. Please kindly take a look carefully before buying. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
