Heng's 71112-C1G2 12 Volt Powered White 14"x14" Roof Vent Kit 12 volt powered complete roof vent kit with galvanized base, white screen, white garnishes and will replace Ventline vents. Features self-centering metal base with radius corners and interior garnish with 1-1/4" flange. Fits roofs 1-3/4" to 2-3/4". Covers all screw holes around cut-out. Positive-seal weatherstripping is leak resistant and watertight. Interchangeable with existing Ventline products. 71111-1G2 is a non-powered complete roof vent. With that out of the way, we'll admit to rather liking HRE's new BBS-esque 501 wheels, and the 288-GTO-style five-spoke 505s are the very essence of sweet-on-sweet when bolted to a Ferrari 458 Italia.

Although previously scooped by CAR as long as two years ago, these are the first official pictures of the Gordon Murray Design T25 that its makers claim will revolutionise car design, manufacturing and even the way we drive. He did indeed design the seminal McLaren F1 and still hopes to build another one, but in the meantime the T25 is designed for the more humble motorist. Gordon Murray Design is keen to promote itself as a leader in downsizing, both in terms of the physical footprint of the car and engine size.
CDN and GM launch new interactive competition for students in North America
Wed, 06 Jun 2012Car Design News is pleased to announce the launch of this year's Car Design News-GM interactive design competition, a collaboration with GM and our partners, Alcantara, CGT, Pace and SRG Global. GM is offering five students a paid internship (with housing included) at its studios in Warren, Michigan. One winner will be picked from each brand (Buick, Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC) and one additional overall winner will also be chosen by the judges.
