Submersible marine BILGE PUMP, with matching SWITCH. can be used for almost any marine bilge pump or water pumping application. May be used to replace 500 750 1000 1100 1600 3700 4000gph, or any other 12v bilge pump. This pump may be used as a 12v powered, emergency, stand-by Sump Pump. Strainer is removable for easy cleaning. Fuel protection. Stainless steel shaft; rust and corrosion protected. Dimensions: 4 3/4" diameter by 7 3/4" high. Current draw: 16 Amps maximum @ 12v dc. Flow ratings: no lift, 4700 gph; 3.3 foot lift, 4100 gph; 6.7 foot lift, 3500 gph. Use with 2" I.D. hose and clamp. The switch is rated for up to 20 amps and up to 32 volts, battery direct current only . The switch operating levels are; pump turn on at 2" (50mm), pump turn off at 3/4" (20mm). Subaru appoints sales specialist as its new global president
Tue, 10 May 2011The maker of Subaru-brand cars has tapped a marketing and sales specialist to be the company's new president and lead global automotive operations in the post-quake era. Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, 57, is currently an executive vice president at Subaru's parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. He takes the title of president and COO, pending approval at the company's annual shareholders' meeting on June 24, Fuji Heavy said May 10.

Fri, 03 Jul 2009Porsche are bringing a number of Porsche 917 Le Mans cars to the Goodwood Festival of Speed But Porsche aren’t just bringing along the 917s, they’re also bringing along a bunch of 917 drivers to re-create their exploits, including Richard Attwood, former F1 driver and 1970 Le Mans winner for Porsche, driving a 917; sports car racing legend Brian Redman will be behind the wheel of the 917/30 CanAm racer; David Piper, who bought a 917 new from the factory in 1969, will be driving his own car; and Jackie Oliver, who won Le Mans in 1969, will be reunited with an evocative Gulf-liveried 917. Treats galore. But Porsche aren’t going to waste the opportunity to bring along something more contemporary.
Infiniti JX crossover revealed at Pebble Beach
Thu, 18 Aug 2011After a month of teasers and tidbits, the Infiniti JX Concept was finally revealed in its entirety on Thursday in California, ahead of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The seven-passenger, three-row crossover concept is expected to appear largely intact as the production 2012 Infiniti JX next spring. Styling cues were obviously borrowed from the Essence concept, but the JX also seems to have a bit of Volvo XC90 in the greenhouse and even a touch of Mitsubishi Lancer in the front grille aperture.
