High Lifter Wide Trac Aluminum Wheel Spacers-1.5" 4/144 are designed to move ATV and UTV wheels slightly out from the hubs and shocks.

There are several major benefits provided by Wide Tracs:

HIGH LIFTER WHEEL SPACERS 4/144 1.5" DESCRIPTION

They extend wheel width for greater stability and increased safety. Riders of tall ATVs will feel much more comfortable on side hills with the wider base provided by Wide Tracs.
They provide mud tires a fresh "bite" at the side of ruts instead of the ATV/UTV simply driving down the deepest part of the center of the ruts where previous riders have been. So the problem of getting stuck by being "high centered" is reduced.
They allow the installation of larger, aftermarket tires without rubbing shocks, struts or exhaust systems.

Wide Trac Aluminum Wheel Spacers by High Lifter are machined from aircraft grade 6061 billet aluminum and use grade 8 studs. No OEM studs are required to be removed from the ATV or UTV and stud extenders are not used. Wide Tracs bolt to existing studs and the wheel is then bolted to the grade 8 Wide Trac Stud furnished. This design is the strongest available for ATVs and UTV's. These High Lifter Spacers are comparable to automotive grade wheel adapters.

Jaguar's Head of Advanced Design, Julian Thomson, appeared at this month's PSFK Conference in London giving a talk on design values. Thomson's talk, ‘Concepting Dreams, Making Reality Happen', dealt with questions of creating a design story as well as how Jaguar uses the value of its heritage while keeping things original and new. Thomson – the man behind the 2010 C-X75 and the recently revealed F-Type – said, "You can't get a good design story if you don't look at your heritage, where you came from, where your values came from." He went on to discuss the ‘sad years of Jaguar', from around 1968 to 2004 where Jaguar was too timid to develop and "essentially made the same-looking car." He put this down to a reluctance on Jaguar's part to move too far away from its successful models and, quite interestingly, because "not only did we start doing market research, we started asking Americans what they wanted." Ariel - famous to motorists for its skeletal Atom sports car - will start making motorbikes again in 2012. CAR's sister publication biking bible MCN today publishes the full story of the new Ariel superbike, likely to be priced around £20,000. Owner Simon Saunders told MCN Ariel would build the new bikes in the UK, but they would use Honda engines like the Atom sports car.
