“Set-up removed from a big block Corvette that was running on pump gas – not much known about the unit, was removed about 10 years ago in working condition and has been sitting since – includes fittings and check valve w/tee as shown – also includes crank drive for small and big block Chevy as shown – drive is in fair shape with “chew” marks from being installed and removed over the years – looks like the turned the engine over with a vise grips – there is JB epoxy around the fuel inlet area, no idea what condition the casting is in this area – being sold as a core assembly for parts or rebuild – spins smooth”

New Vauxhall / Opel Astra revealed ahead of a launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September The Astra has been with us for 30 years, and this is the sixth generation to hit the showrooms. And it looks to be the best yet (as you would hope), with a cohesive style and loads of design cues taken from Vauxhall’s Insignia. This new Astra is built on the same platform as the much heralded Vauxhall Ampera (the Electric Car that will be the salvation of GM – once the technology is sorted) and as such offers a bigger wheelbase (up by 71mm) on a 4.4 meter (14′ 4″) body, with a wider track, which should make the Astra a better drive.

Tokyo Motor Show: Lexus RC Coupe

JAPANESE car maker Lexus has unveiled a new two-door coupe at the Tokyo show. Designed to appeal to a broader range of customers than the usual Lexus buyer profile, the car has been shown with both petrol and petrol-electric hybrid power. Based on the look of the LF-LC concept first shown at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show, this car boasts a long, low-slung profile but with seats for four.
