  • This is a chrome (actually stainless) antenna with a chrome tip
  • Manual antenna, it is not motorized.
  • It closes flush with the top of the fender mount and includes a key to raise the mast along with installation instructions.
  • 21 mm round hole needed if not already existing.
  • The retractable mast is 85 cm/33 inches tall
  • The base is 25 cm/10 inches deep into the fender
  • The coax cable is 140 cm/55 inches long with the proper Motorola plug for the rear of the radio to ensure a good connection.
  • If you require a screw on style antenna cable please see the other Hirschmann antenna in our ebay store
  • Since most radios and antennas were "dealer installed" the location and hole diameter may vary.
  • Please check antenna dimensions before ordering.
  • If the hole in your fender is larger, please check out our "Bosch Style" antenna with a larger base to cover a larger hole.

This antenna is the same style as the original antenna offered on the Porsche 356 and early 911 and 912. I have installed these for many 356 customers with complete customer satisfaction. I am a PCA and 356 Club and Registry member offering a quality product at a fair price to other Porsche owners. Shipping is also less expensive then other vendors are charging, just our cost, no markup, and with Priority Mail, it should be in your mailbox in 2-3 days. Please see our other auction for a modern AM/FM ipod/mp3 ready radio that looks like a period correct 356/911 radio without cutting your dash!
Some sample feedback from this item: "Nice parts, fast ship and great transaction overall, AAA++++" "Exactly as described. Good communication. Excellent transaction! A+", "Wonderful Product professionally packaged and shipped! Thank you!", "parts shipped very fast and as described", "nicely packaged....thank you!", "Excellent to work with, fast shipping. AAA+++" "Great Products, Very Fast Shipping, Very Satisfied, TY !!", "Perfect. Excellent packaging better than promised", "Excellent transaction, rare part, exactly as described...... (not like some!)". NOTE: I attended the Dana Point Concours, an all Porsche show. After viewing some of the over 200 356's on display, the clear majority of the cars present were fitted with this type of antenna, there are always exceptions. Please note our perfect feedback record for your purchasing confidence.

We also now have a limited quantity of NOS key lock Hirschmann antennas for those looking for a concours correct antenna for the Porsche 356/911/912 (early to late 60's). If you need a red tip antenna (50's and early 60's 356), please see our other auction. We also carry vintage style AM FM iPod/mp3 ready radios and upgraded speakers.

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 19 February 2014 11:20 This is the new Fiat Panda Cross – a Panda 4x4 with a Bear Grylls attitude and a dual personality.
