This is the air cleaner assembly that Downey Off Road Mfg. originally made to fit 1976-newer Toyota Landcruisers converted to a Holley 350 two barrel carburetor. The air cleaner was designed to clear the master cylinder on the drivers side, and to route out over the straight 6 valve cover. This design makes the air cleaner ideal for any straight 6 (Jeep, Chevy, Toyota, etc.) when using a 2 or 4 barrel carburetor with 5 1/8" top flange- - - very universal. In 1976 Toyota used an intake manifold with longer runners, mounting the carburetor out further away from the cylinder head, closer to the brake master cylinder. That is why this air cleaner does not protrude towards the drivers side at all. This unit includes the cast aluminum top lid and bottom housing, a K&N type pre-oiled filter element, and the necessary mounting studs and wing nuts. The filter element is 9" diameter by 2" tall, the aluminum castings hold the round filter element into the oval shape. Photos show a Holley 350 carburetor and adapter plate, those items are not included, this listing is for the air cleaner assembly only.

He will work alongside director of corporate design James Hope who continues in his role overseeing Chery design. Turkish-born Saracoglu joins the Chinese state-owned manufacturer from Porsche where he worked from April 1998.

Aston Martin reveals the 2012 V12 Vantage GT3 race car
Wed, 24 Aug 2011Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 It’s been mooted for quite a while, but now it’s confirmed – AM are to replace the DBR9S race car with the Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3. Built on Aston Martin’s now rather ancient V/H architecture modular chassis, the Vantage GT3 also features Aston Martin’s one and only engine – the V12 originally built from a pair of Ford Mondeo engines – which in the GT3 version will produce something in the region of 600bhp and 516lb/ft of torque. What the GT3 also gets – as the photo above clearly demonstrates - are new aerodynamics, which makes the GT3 seem much more aggressive than the V12 Vantage on which it’s based.
