(Use with Notched float) 108-83-2/ 122-5000 Jet extension screws into the metering block. The main metering jet then threads into the end of the extension. The installation effectively moves the fuel entry point for the main jet out into the fuel bowl. In this location it cannot be uncovered by fuel, causing a lean condition, during periods of hard acceleration or braking. I have been rebuilding carburetors for 29 years. I worked for a national rebuilder for 22 years. I got tired of my pay check relying on quanity and not quality. The Mrs. & I took a chance moved Arkansas and worked hard to open our own shop. Mazda reportedly to pull out of Michigan joint venture with Ford
Fri, 03 Jun 2011Mazda is reportedly pulling out of a joint manufacturing venture with Ford Motor Co. that was thought to be unprofitable for the Japanese carmaker. The site, AutoAlliance International, is about 25 miles south of Detroit and makes the Mazda 6 and the Ford Mustang.

Land Rover testing electric Defender 110 pickup
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Land Rover has begun testing an electric version of the Land Rover Defender first shown at the 2012 Geneva motor show. The electric Defender prototype is in service at the Eden Project in Cornwall, U.K., a complex of several large transparent domes that house multiple artificially maintained environments containing thousands of rare plants, and is a popular visitor attraction. At the moment the electric Defender isn't exactly tearing through the Amazon rainforest, but the work it's doing is nevertheless a good approximation of how quite a lot of Defenders are used in real life -- at least in terms of speed and duration of use.
