Removed from a 350x engine in unknown running condition.  Includes Cylinder, Piston, Rings, Wrist Pin, and Circlips.  Standard bore, caliber is not that exact but you can see that it is indeed the stock bore (~81mm).  Piston has some build up on the top, rings/circlips/wrist pin are installed on the piston.  Includes some but not necessarily all dowels.  May need to be honed and/or may need rings, came out of a spare engine so I do not know if it was in running condition or not but it looks to be in good shape.

I have another Cylinder and Piston listed, they are not the same.

Shipping to continental US only.

This item is for sale by other means and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

Volkswagen has plans for yet another Beetle

Tue, 06 Apr 2010

The Volkswagen Beetle is on its way back, and this time around, it will be focused more on driving dynamics than on efforts to resurrect the past. Expected to appear in concept form at the Los Angeles auto show late this year, the second-generation version of the modern-day Beetle goes on sale in the United States in May 2011. A convertible with a fabric top will follow about a year later.

Saab 9-5 Sportwagon (2011) first official pictures

Wed, 19 Jan 2011

This is the new Saab 9-5 Sportwagon, and is the third new model released under Spyker ownership after the 9-5 saloon and 9-4X SUV. Saab has released this solitary teaser image ahead of the car’s debut at the 2011 Geneva motor show in March, and while we can’t see the front on the new Saab 9-5 Sportwagon, it’s the back that’s the business end. It’s not your typical hearse-like load lugger: note the raked rear screen and wraparound rear glass.  Figures first, and seats up there’s 527 litres of boot space in the new Saab 9-5 Sportwagon.

Ken Okuyama Design heads to Tokyo with new road racer [w/video]

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

Ken Okuyama Design is heading to the Tokyo motor show with what promises to be a real treat of a two-seat sports car. The Kode9 coupé, as teased in a behind-the-scenes video, follows on from the Kode7 first shown in 2008 and, if the video is any indication, this voluminous, 1960s-inspired creation will continue that car's attention to delightful detail. And who doesn't love a car with a vertical tail fin?
