But few people outside of General Motors could have expected the ZR1 to lap the Nurburgring faster than a Nissan GT-R. Well, the ZR1 has just blitzed the GT-R’s time by nearly four seconds, clocking a 7:26.4 lap time.

This 4240mm long car that seats four has a Cd value of just 0.19 which, in combination with light-weight construction and an advanced diesel powertrain, gives 20% lower fuel consumption and up to 80% lower nitrogen oxide emissions. This reduction in NO2 is achieved by spraying 'AdBlue', an aqueous urea solution, into the exhaust system in precisely metered quantities to convert the nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water, so even if it looks like it should, it shouldn't smell fishy...
U.S. auto sales continue to plunge in February
Tue, 03 Mar 2009February sales for each of the top six U.S. automakers plunged more than 37 percent in February--the worst month since December 1981. "We are in an automotive depression amid 'The Great Recession,' " Standard and Poor's analyst Efraim Levy said in a report.
