This petcock rebuild kit is superior to many that are offered here on the internet.  Look closely at the others, this kit includes more items and options.  Many do not offer the fuel screen or options of fuel resistant rubber or fuel resistant fiber packing.  The components in this kit are made with materials that are specifically compounded for use in petroleum. 

You get more:

Brass fuel screen- why spend more $ and receive an incomplete kit? With many kits you receive no fuel screen, no mounting screw gaskets and have to reuse dirty old parts.

Both styles- you get cork packing and hard to find petro-fiber gasket material, others like rubber packing (I like the original cork and would recommend it).  The cork packing of today is more durable, suitable and impregnated for these applications over what was used 50 yrs ago.

These are not pieced together hardware store kits with round plain O-rings, they are made with the appropriate materials.  You will receive a parts diagram with your order and complete instructions.

REPLACEMENT PETCCK Many times your original petcock may be damaged to the point that rebuilding it doesn't make sense, see Sellers Other Items if this is the case.  Some main issues are damaged threads on the bowl, stripped nut on the bottom of the bowl, snapped selector lever, and the most common, spring steel on pressure plate worn out or corroded and gone.  Trust Peanut's for the most useful items and products, check out that replacement petcock and kiss your headaches good bye!
