Features Hotchkis Sport Suspension Camaro Chassis Max Strut Brace from Hotchkis Performance adds necessary rigidity to the Camaro by eliminating strut tower flex. It ties the strut towers together at four mounting points, offering maximum support in tension, compression and twist. It maximizes the performance gains from other chassis improvements like sport springs and sway bars. This product is a must for spirited street and track day driving. Fabricated from strong, lightweight 1-1/4 inch DOM steel tubing and 100 percent TIG welded with laser cut brackets and corner gussets, the brace is designed to fit over stock and Magnuson supercharged engines. Some drilling is required, and the brace bolts on in minutes. A unique reservoir relocation bracket is also included. Finished in durable semi-gloss black powder coat, the Chassis Max Strut Tower Brace includes installation hardware and detailed instructions. Like all Hotchkis Performance products the brace is designed, track tested and manufactured in the USA using domestic materials. for maximum performance results, use the brace in conjunction with the Hotchkis Track Pack for ultimate 5th Gen Camaro handling. The electric Volvo C30 BEV wasn’t at Frankfurt, and the Swedes announced the zero-emissions runaround today – along with details of a 92-mile range, 80mph top speed and 0-62mph sprint of less than 11 seconds. The BEV stands for Battery Electric Vehicle and Volvo’s new plug-in hybrid could be introduced to the C30 range by 2012, bosses say.

Mon, 24 Mar 2014In addition to holiday-themed displays assembled by junkyard employees and the occasional sad, flood-victim Volvo Amazon, I frequently find homemade mix CDs and cassette tapes while prowling through wrecking yards. In fact, it would be possible to go into just about any high-inventory-turnover self-service wrecking yard in North America and come away with several dozen such discs and tapes, if anybody ever felt motivated to do such a thing. I haven't, yet.

Wed, 15 Jun 2011Jimbo Paranada and Marc Paguirigan wore their leis made of lucky Hawaiian ti leaves, but it wasn't quite enough to give the Maui High School students the win in the 62nd-annual Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills national competition on June 14 at Ford World Headquarters in Dearborn, Mich. The Hawaiian duo finished second to the two-person team of Matthew Saunders and Drew Torrey from Vale High School in Vale, Ore. The Oregon pair won the title of "America's Best Student Auto Technicians," outscoring at field of state champions from all 50 states.
