Mon, 16 Jan 2006Ferrari have announced the first details of their latest V12 berlinetta at the North American International Auto Show - the new 599 GTB. The new model is a direct replacement for the 575M Maranello and represents the latest interpretation of a theme that has seen such classics as the 250 GT, the 275 GTB, and the 365 GTB4 (Daytona). According to Ferrari, the new car is a concentration of their most innovative and technologically advanced engineering solutions applied to a mid-front engined two-seater coup?.
College Exhibition: Hongik University Degree Show 2006
Wed, 31 Jan 2007Senior transportation Design students at Korea's Hong-ik University presented their works in the School's Graduate Exhibition 2006 held in October. Running from March 4th to July 10th, the Renault-sponsored project with the theme 'My First Renault', gave the students a fairly open brief to design a personal vision of a Renault vehicle of the near future. The students also had a presentation with Patrick Le Quement, the Renault senior vice president, corporate design, Anthony Grade (vice president) and Jean-Marie Hurtiger, the executives of Renault-Samsung Motor's in their design center in Gi-heung, Korea in November.
College Exhibition: CCS Spring Show 2009
Fri, 29 May 2009This year's CCS Senior Show provided another year of outstanding graduates while the automotive industry continues to retract due to the global financial crisis. Given all the negative news about auto bankruptcies and closures, it was refreshing to see such youthful, creative and challenging designs in a modern and hopeful environment. The projects on display ranged from militaristic Jeep off-road vehicles to a microvan for the ‘future family of two = single parent + only child'.
