Brand new Hurst chrome stick # 538-8022 - 12" tall, bends 7.5" rearward and 2" to left.   OE on the following Hurst shifters:

  • 366-8034 for 1965-69 Dodge Coronet & Plymouth Belvedere w/ 3 speed
  • Bolt-on version of stick used by 391-3180 for 1965-73 Mustang & 1966-73 Fairlane

New BMW voice control system

BMW are fitting a new voice control system to their cars from September Hopefully this will work. My own experience of voice control systems is not great – I usually end up doing it manually through the interface. But with BMW’s pretty complicated iDrive system it will be a big plus, and safer, to speak your commands.

Shown at the recent Chicago Auto Show, this revised version is heavily based on the existing H3 and will be sold in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Unmistakably Hummer, the flagship H3T Alpha is powered by the same GM-sourced 300bhp 5.3-litre V8 that has proved so popular, albeit with an aluminium block to improve weight distribution.

Mercedes SLS AMG DROPPED in the U.S.

In what seems a strange move, MBUSU – Mercedes in the States – is dropping the SLS AMG from its range in favour of the SLS AMG GT. When the Mercedes SLS AMG GT was revealed last week we were sure it was a new addition to the SLS range; a more edgy SLS for those wanting a bit more hard-core from their SLS and willing to dig a bit deeper to have one. And it is.
