MINI London 2012 Edition launches to celebrate Olympic Games

Wed, 28 Sep 2011

MINI London 2012 Edition - in patriotic red, white or blue The launch of the MINI London 2012 Edition to celebrate the Olympic Games neatly pulls together two of MINI’s marketing tactics; shove out as many limited edition models as you can and give them a London theme. The Seven shape is familiar, but Caterham has pinched parts from its Supersport race series cars (which sit above the Academy and Roadsport classes, but below the Superlight and forthcoming SP/300R) to create this new Supersport model.  Is the new Caterham Seven Supersport road car exactly the same as the race car? Not quite, but the pair are similar.

Though officially called Hadsec3 – Highways Agency digital enforcement camera system – the mainstream national press has already dubbed the new speed cameras ‘stealth cameras’, on the basis that they are small and grey, rather than bright yellow.
