- Shadow Ops, back-alley skullduggery, or a full-blown blockade are all
within the wheelhouse of the Quartermaster Cardigan. The knit poly outer
shell is bonded to a 390g fleece lining, providing the look and warmth of
wool without the traditional sweater itch. The tall ribbed-knit collar,
synthetic elbow and shoulder patches, and handwarmer pockets prove ample
companions while standing a long mid-watch. The rubber name badging is
Velcro'd in place, should the need arise to cut and run. If your intended
destination is in harm’s way, make sure your insulation layers are up to the
task
- MATERIAL: 100% knit polyester outer shell bonded to 390g fleece lining
- DETAILS: Rib Knit Collar, Synthetic Leather Shoulders/Elbows, Velcro TPU
chest logo, Bicep Pockets with Welded Rubber Trim, Elastic Thumb Loops,
Custom Zipper Pulls

German design student Tilmann Schlootz has been named one of the winners in the 2008 Michelin Challenge Design competition for his Audi Snook project. Selected for special exhibition at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit by a jury of professional designers and educators, the Snook scale model concept answered a design brief entitled: 'Sharing the Road - Big Safety/Small Vehicles', which called for enhanced real and perceived safety for smaller vehicles through design innovation. The visionary concept vehicle, which rides on a mono-sphere wheel, is heralded as a new vehicle category, implementing the principles of agility through instability learned from aerospace technology.

The £92,000 Climax Sports Racer
British firm Climax has revealed it’s readying a road-going race-car to rival others in the niche like the Ariel Atom and the Caparo T1. Imaginatively named The Climax Sport Racer the new car gets powered by a Ford 4.6 V8 developing 345bhp with a supercharged version offering 415bhp. All that grunt is driven through the rear wheels by a 6-speed Graziano GT ME1 gearbox.
